@@treymoment I think it's because usually there's only artists will know first hand exactly how much work and how difficult an artpiece is, and understand more technical aspects. Like non-artistic people will think "this art is so pretty" while artists will go "the colours are so harmonious, and the brushstrokes are so well thought out", hence it's "appreciate fully", not just "appreciate". But tbh though, saying the amount of details and colours are fantastic is pretty basic, you don't need to be an artist or have technical knowledge to see that

i use the selection tool! draw the silhouette of the object with a black thick brush, ctrl+shift+click the layer on the layer column and it should select everything on that layer; on a new layer underneath: "selection" > "increment" for as thick as you want your lineart to be; fill selection black; color your initial silhouette pure white: you should now have a black outline to that silhouette; merge layers; "layer" > luminance to transparency done!
How do you usually start out your sketches and if you don't mind could you make an eye or hair tutorial? Completely optional I'm not forcing you it would just really help!
